Gucci Jewelry - High end Collections

All Gucci jewelry is handcrafted by highly skilled Italian goldsmiths and the high end Jewelry collection is the epitomy of impeccable craftsmanship.

The high end jewelry collection is made of nine exclusive, breathtaking parures, (five sold to date) and the collection is exclusively sold in Gucci boutiques.

Luxury is here defined by the choice of precious material, the uniqueness of each design and the meticulous attention to details.

Rare rough gems have been carefully selected by our expert gemologists, and custom cut to obtain the precious gemstones desired for each masterpiece. Each cut has been defined to enhance the inner beauty of the gems, to magnify the natural color and endorse the jewel across time. International certification is provided for each of them (GIA, IGI, DSEF), in keeping with high end jewelry industry standards.

The Horsebit Collection

The Horsebit first gained true prominence in 1953 when it adorned Gucci’s classic loafer, recalling the horse riding world of the aristocracy and high society in Florence.

It has since evolved into the bold hardware on handbags and shoes, prints on canvas handbags and silks, watches and most recently, Fine jewelry. It is now universally considered synonymous with the glamour associated with Gucci.

Reworked by Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director, in a contemporary style, the Horsebit takes on softly sensual shapes, to become a jewelry collection.

Variants of the Horsebit range are available in the following collections: Cocktail, Beverly, Drops and the Horsebit Marina Chain.

The Horsebit collection includes 2 high end, unique parures: one is set with 4 of the most exceptional acquamarine gems, surrounded by over 19 carats of white diamonds; the other is made of a necklace and a ring in white gold set with breathtaking cognac colored topaz gems whose preciousness is further enhanced by 22 carats of brilliant round cut diamonds, all certified.

The Chiodo Collection

The iconic nail, or Chiodo, finds its origins in the equestrian world, which has been a source of inspiration to Gucci since 1921, just like another Gucci icon, the Horsebit. The shape of the Chiodo (Italian name for nail) draws its inspiration from the squared-off horseshoe nail.

First created in the 1960’s, and used on Gucci products throughout the 1960s and 1970s, it was initially featured as a decorative detail in either silver or gold, on the most coveted accessory items; in the early 1970s, the nail was introduced as an iconic feature on bracelets and watches as the bold angles and contours of Chiodo translate perfectly into jewelry.

The Chiodo Collection offers 2 exclusive high end parures, combining perfection with exploration into a style resembling “deco”. The design of this collection is unique and is originally enriched by the exclusive fancy cut created for the occasion and made on the cognac topaz, the white diamonds and the blue sapphires.

The cognac topaz parure combines the beauty of square shaped cognac topaz stones and over 73 carats of baguette, princess and fancy cut exceptional white diamonds.

The beauty of the blue sapphire necklace and ring is breathtaking, 6 exceptional princess cut blue sapphire stones for a total of 40 carats, are beautifully enhanced by no less than 19 carats of white princess cut diamonds.

The purity of the design adds to the absolute elegance and quality characteristics of the collection, asserting Gucci’s thorough know-how in terms of Sterling Silver Jewelry.
